Over the sand dunes to be greeted by the sight of perfect waves held up by the cross off winds. Rigged a 4.7 but took out the big board as it was really iffy on the inside.

Getting out was tricky as there were patches of zero wind, but the waves were fairly gentle so getting rolled wasn't a kit breaker. Catching the wave on the way in was an art form in itself though the pro's made it look effortless. Managed to get 3 bottom turns on one wave before getting hammered as I mis-timed the pocket.

You don't get much better conditions for wave riding than this in the UK.
